Minority Rule ?

 A comment today in the Seattle Times piece about the filibuster rule change left me speechless and fuming. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn) said, "It's another raw exercise of political power to permit the majority to do anything it wants whenever it wants to do it."     OMG !!! Just who won the last election anyway?  What about the MINORITY holding our government hostage to its obstruction when it keeps qualified people from getting appointed!?  What about the MINORITY refusing to pass legislative anything, that would help people? No jobs act, no sequestration relief, no appointments to the courts, no SNAP, no to childcare, no to helping students with loan relief. And the worst is the continual efforts at restricting voters rights.                                        JUST NO, NO, NO!   Now they whine and threaten that the Democrats will be sorry that Harry Reid pushed this through.  Well guess what, Harry Reid was right and what he did was long overdue.   Harry Reid, you are my hero!
